בדיוק חזרתי מארוחה אצל סבתא שלי. סבתא שלי היא פולניה קלאסית, מאלה שכל הזמן מתלוננות על איך קשה להן וכואב להן ושהן הולכות למות. עכשיו אל תבינו אותי לא נכון, אני מאוד אוהב את סבתא שלי ומאוד אכפת לי ממנה אבל חשוב לי שתבינו את הדמות בשביל להעביר נקודה מסוימת.

“נו, יהיה טוב. אני אומרת לך….”

ואז זה הכה בי.

מה יהיה טוב ?

את בת 84, כנראה שכרגע את נמצאת באחד מהחלקים האחרונים של החיים שלך ואת אומרת “יהיה טוב”? אין לך אופציה להגיד “יהיה טוב”, זה או שעכשיו טוב או שכלום!

כמובן שלא אמרתי לה את זה, אבל המחשבה הזאת הדהדה בראש שלי בצורה ברורה.

וזה גרם לי להבין. זה גרם לי להבין שגם אני הייתי בדיוק ככה, עד לפני 4 חודשים. חייתי חיים שלא נהניתי מהם, עבדתי בעבודה שמרוויחה הרבה מאוד כסף בקצת מאוד זמן שלא סבלתי, עשיתי דברים כי הייתי צריך ולא כי באמת רציתי. חייתי בארץ ה”מתים החיים” כמו שהרבה אפיליאטס נוהגים להגדיר.

לפני 4 חודשים, בפברואר, החלטתי שדי, נמאס, אני מתחיל לחיות איך שאני באמת רוצה. התפטרתי מהעבודה שלי, הכרזתי על החדר הפנוי בדירה של ההורים שלי כמשרד ואמרתי לעצמי “עכשיו אתה תגיע למשרד הזה כל יום ב-9 בבוקר ותעזוב ב-9 בערב עד שתתחיל לעשות כסף ממה שאתה באמת אוהב, האינטרנט”.

ישבתי, שברתי את הראש, ניסיתי כל מיני כיוונים, חלקן כללו לשווק איבוק שכתבתי בזמנו, חלקן האחר כלל לבדוק הצעות שונות בקליקבנק. אני לא אכנס לכל הפרטים שאותם אפשר לקרוא בפירוט בבלוג שלי, אבל הרעיון הוא שקרעתי את התחת.

ולא סתם קרעתי את התחת, קרעתי את התחת כשאני צריך לשלם שכר דירה של 4000 ₪ בחודש (החיים במרכז תל אביב לא זולים), אני לומד תוך כדי לתואר ראשון ואין לי שום הכנסה קבועה אחרת (למעט תגמולי מילואים שבמקרה שלי עזרו לא קצת).

לא ידעתי איך אני אעבור את התקופה הזאת, אבל היה לי ברור שמשהו אחד תמיד מנצח בחיים וזה שילוב של רצון עז והתמדה. כל יום הייתי קם בבוקר ומגיע למשרד שלי. כל יום הייתי מנסה מחדש לחשוב איך אני מייצר לעצמי הכנסה מהאינטרנט. כל יום היה לי קשה להירדם בלילה כי ידעתי שאין לי מושג מה יהיה מחר ואיך אני סוגר את החודש וכל יום נהניתי לקום בבוקר כמו שלא נהניתי מעולם.

על הנייר המצב היה חרא, אבל אצלי בתוכו התחלתי לחיות. לא משנה כמה קשה היה לי, ידעתי שאני עושה משהו שאני אוהב. וכשאתה חי במתאם כזה עם עצמך התוצאות לא מאחרות לבוא. היום אני עדיין לא מרוויח כמו שאני רוצה מהאינטרנט אבל אני בהחלט בדרך לשם וכבר רואה תוכנית ברורה בראש.

החלטתי לכתוב את הפוסט הזה כי אני בטוח שיש עוד לא מעט אנשים שנמצאים במצב שאני הייתי בו. באותו פחד של לעשות צעד אל כיוון שלא נודע. שלא תבינו אותי לא נכון, להתפטר מהעבודה שלי היה אחד המהלכים המפחידים ביותר שהיו לי בחיי, אבל גם אחת ההחלטות ששינו אותם ללא היכר. אני מסתכל על עצמי היום, 4 חודשים אחרי, ואני פשוט קורן כמו בחור בן 24 שחזר מדרום אמריקה (אהמ….).

בעיקרון חשבתי לתרגם את הפסקה מאנגלית אבל יש משהו בתרגום מאנגלית לעברית שפוגם בתוכן היצירה בעיני ולכן אני פשוט אצטט את המקור:

רוב האנשים שאני מכיר היום חיים כמו שהם יכולים ולא כמו שהם באמת רוצים. רובם מסתכלים על מה אפשרי להם עכשיו ומתכווננים לזה, במקום להחליט לאן הם רוצים להגיע ואז למצוא דרך להשיג את זה. הזמן אף פעם לא יהיה מתאים ב-100% בדיוק כמו שאף פעם לא כל הרמזורים יהיו ירוקים כשאתם יוצאים מהבית לעבודה.

פשוט תתחילו בלהחליט מה אתם רוצים, תתחילו ללכת בכיוון ותשרפו את הספינות מאחוריכם.
