To move the blog you would follow the steps below:
Create the sub-domain you want to move the blog to. In your example the sub-domain is “oldsite”. You need to set this up under the hosting account and point it to its own directory.
Once created you should install a new WordPress installation in that directory.
Export your current blog data.
Import you blog data to the new WordPress installation.

To add the new sub-domain
Log in to your Account Manager.
From the Products section, click Web Hosting.
Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
In the Settings section of the Hosting Control Center, click the Domain Management icon.
From the All Domains panel, click the domain to which the subdomain(s) will be added.
Click Add Subdomain.
Enter a single subdomain or multiple subdomains separated by a comma.
Select whether the subdomain content will reside in a folder of the same name or a new or existing folder.
Click Ok.

Install WordPress to the sub-domains directory
From the Products section, click Web Hosting.
Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
On the Hosting Control Center home page, click Install Apps.
Click WordPress.
Click Install Now!.
NOTE: The Install Now! button displays only when the selected value application is compatible with one of more hosting plans in your account.
Select the domain name you want to use.
If you don’t have a Go Daddy Community profile, enter a display name, agree to the Community terms of service, and then click Next.
Enter a database description and password, and then click Next.
Choose an installation directory, and then click Next.
NOTE: To install WordPress in your root directory, leave this field empty.
Enter the Admin Name, Admin Password, Email and Blog Title for your WordPress installation. Click Finish.
WordPress will be installed to your hosting account with the options you selected within 24 hours. When it is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.

Export your current blog data
NOTE: If your blog hosts a large amount of content and uses plug-ins, see Moving a Large WordPress Blog for more information.
Log in to your WordPress dashboard. For example,
http://coolexample.com/wp-admin, where coolexample.com is your domain name.
Click Tools, and then select Export.
Click Download Export File. This saves an XML file to your computer— the file name looks like wordpress.date.xml.
Log out of the WordPress dashboard.
Connect to your existing hosting account using File Transfer Protocol (FTP). For more information see What is File Transfer Protocol (FTP)?
Download the wp-content folder to your computer.
To Import and Upload a Personal Blog to the new location
Connect to your new hosting account using File Transfer Protocol (FTP). For more information see What is File Transfer Protocol (FTP)?
Upload the previously-exported folder (coolexample.com, in our earlier example) and replace the contents of the existing wp-content folder in your new hosting account.
Log in to your new WordPress dashboard. For example,
http://coolexample.com/wp-admin where coolexample.com is your domain name.
Click Appearance, and then select Theme.
Select the theme you want, and then click Activate.
Click Tools, and then select Import.
Click WordPress, click Browse to locate the previously saved XML file on your computer, and click OK.
Click Upload file and import.
Click Submit.

Once the process is complete and you have verified the new installation is working you can remove the old installation.
Log in to your Account Manager.
From the Products section, click Web Hosting.
Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
From the Content section, click Go Daddy Hosting Connection.
From the My Management section, click Manage My Applications.
Next to the application you want to uninstall, click View and manage details or Update now.
Click Uninstall Application.
Select the options to delete the files or database associated with the application.
From the Please tell us why you’re uninstalling menu, select a reason.
Type OK in the Please enter “OK” to verify… field.
The selected application will be removed from your hosting account. You will receive an email once the uninstall is complete.
